Professional Services Fees
Title insurance premiums are governed by the State of Florida and no entity is allowed to charge less than the minimum. CornerStone Title always charges the minimum required promulgated title insurance rate. These rates are based on purchase price for purchase/sale contracts or loan amount for refinance transactions.

Further, CornerStone Title always provides re-issue credit towards premiums whenever our clients qualify; i.e., for sellers who own the property less than three years and for clients refinancing when they have obtained an owners title policy in the past.

An estimate of rates is provided below. You may also utilize our Premium Calculations Page or call the office for an exact quote specific to your transaction.

Transaction costs, such as closing and search fees which are required with the issuance of title insurance, are listed below as well as recording, county taxes and recording fees

Transaction Fees

  • Closing Fee: starting at $255
  • Search Fee: $95
  • Courier Fees: estimate at $65.00
  • Simultaneous Issue on Mortgagee Policy: $25.00
  • Endorsement Fees: $25.00 each
  • Florida Form 9 and 9.2: estimate at 10% of premium
  • Post Close Fee $25.00/$10.00

Recording Fees

  • First Page: $10.00
  • Additional Pages: $8.50 each

County Taxes

  • Deed/Doc Stamps: $0.70 per $100.00 of sales price
  • Mortgage Stamps: $0.35 per $100.00 of loan amount
  • Intangible Tax: $0.20 per $100.00 of loan amount
