Mary Howard

Mary is the mother of three wonderful children and wife to Tom Howard. She is originally
from Westchester New York and has lived in Florida since 1996. After being blessed with
her daughter in 06, Mary followed the vision in her heart of creating a company that would
place integrity first and be a true light to the community
Mary and Tom founded CornerStone Title in December of 06. With over 11 years of
experience in real estate law, real estate development and title insurance, Mary wanted
ownership in a company that was not only successful but significant. She created the
company to not only provide successful closings but to enrich and be a blessing to lives
and businesses of its clients.
Mary graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York with a BA in Communications.
She continued with post graduate education at Mercy College in White Plains, New York
where she earned her Certificate in Paralegal Studies.
Mary began her career in real estate law and title insurance after moving to Naples
Florida in 1996. At that time she began working as a Real Estate Paralegal for a major Naples
developer. She expanded her knowledge of real estate law by working as a Paralegal and Closing
Officer for the area’s most prestigious law firm.
Upon moving to Manatee County, Mary obtained a position at Taylor Woodrow Communities
where she gained knowledge and experience in real estate development and land transfers. She
furthered her career by becoming Closing Manger for a Sarasota law firm and in 2004 successfully
opened and grew a branch office for a national title insurance underwriter.
With this unique experience, coupled by the philosophy of living life and conducting business both
by the Golden Rule, Mary is excited to bring CornerStone Title to Manatee and Sarasota Counties.
