CornerStone Title was founded with a commitment to serve an unmet need in the marketplace.
When the company opened In 2006, there were certainly concerns about the state of the economy and the declining real estate market. But Tom and Mary Howard felt that they could succeed by doing the little things right on a consistent basis.
What Makes CornerStone Title Different
What Tom and Mary recognized was that the title industry is dominated by two major types of providers – small, local independent agents and large national underwriting agencies. The small providers tend to fall short when it comes to technology, systemization and polish. The larger providers often lack in delivering a personalized experience, local knowledge and flexibility.
From the beginning, CornerStone Title was designed to bridge that gap and deliver a personalized relationship experience combined with evolved, technology-driven systems.
At the core of CornerStone Title’s strategy are three foundational principles – attention to detail, a sense of urgency and excellent communication throughout the entire closing process. Our vision is to be the title company of choice in Bradenton and Sarasota and operate from a core set of values that serve as the litmus test for every aspect of how we conduct our business.
Serving Real Estate Buyers and Sellers
CornerStone Title serves two distinct markets. The first is the consumer – the home buyer and seller. Our value to consumers is to create a positive, seamless closing experience. Buying and selling real estate is an emotional experience, now more than ever. Our job is to make that process easier, from contract to closing. Communication is key! An informed customer is typically a satisfied customer and we place a high priority on staying in touch and keeping our customers up to date.
CornerStone Title has focused on creating a comfortable, family friendly office environment. Our guests are frequently pleasantly surprised when they visit and are offered freshly made cappuccinos and snacks on arrival. It is our goal to make every customer feel like a guest in our home.
Serving Real Estate Professionals
The second market we serve is the real estate professional – Realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers and builders. Our value to professionals is to help them close the deals they put together and build their future repeat and referral business. Real estate professionals need a partner that will close their transactions with the same level of professionalism that they provide to their clients.
We take our commitment to professionals very seriously. We have the finest team of closers in the area, hiring only licensed professionals who share in our passion for excellence. Additionally, we assign you a dedicated closer who serves as your single source of contact to facilitate communication. This approach is more labor intensive, but yields better communication and results.
CornerStone Title also invests heavily in tools and education that empower the real estate professional to prosper. We employ service principles and technology that greatly enhance your ability to increase repeat and referral business.
The company hosts the acclaimed “CornerStones of Success Seminar Series,” which delivers value-driven education to professionals, with the goal of having a direct positive impact on your success.
Making a Difference
CornerStone Title also aspires to be significant to our community. We support several worthy causes, including the Payton Wright Foundation (Pediatric Cancer) and Bayside Community Church. Recently, we have become a "partner in hope" with Manatee Habitat for Humanity and have committed to making a donation for every transaction we close in Manatee County.
